The Irondale Soccer Club will begin its Spring season with a signup and evaluation day on Saturday January, 30th. The tryouts will be held at Grantswood Community School at 1pm.
A coaching forum will be held immediately following the tryouts at 2:30 at The Liberty Center.

Irondale’s Pharr part of Bama’s rosy family affair »
When you ask most Bama fans why they chose Alabama as their team of choice, they will respond by telling you of how they were raised that way. Much like religion, in the South team loyalty is often tied to familial relationships.
Current Tider, Taylor Pharr, takes that familial relationship a step further.
Pharr, a junior offensive lineman from Irondale, Ala., is a third generation national championship contender and a second generation Rose Bowl participant for the Crimson Tide.

This Saturday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Shades Valley theatre auditorium, some very lovely ladies will be showcased in the annual Miss Tower Pageant.
SVHS Booster Club meets tonight »
The January meeting of the Shades Valley High School Booster Club is tonight, Thursday the 21st. The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the Driver’s Education Room. All parents and coaches are welcome. The club especially wants to encourage new Shades Valley parents to attend.
